Fellowship and Volunteer Programmes

ARiD fellows, interns and volunteers comprise of multi-cultural community from a wide array of background who come to work with ARiD in Uganda. We host individuals who are interested either in enhancing or developing their careers and skills in conflict, peace and development or directly supporting local community development. We offer an independent platform for critical debates that brings together the best multidisciplinary thinkers and practitioners to shed light on contemporary social issues affecting humankind. Currently, we host our research fellows, interns or volunteers in Pader district, Uganda. Anybody is free to work with us.

Our fellows, interns and volunteers are united through a set of shared values, commitment to improve the prospects of our communities and build a better society. We engage our volunteers in ongoing ARiD programmes based on their skills and interests. Small donations, covering the programme costs, are at the heart of our ability to achieve these aims.
